LPA, Inc.

LPA, Inc.

Irvine, California

Project Overview

Relocation Strategies was retained to execute the relocation of LPA, Inc., the largest architecture firm in Orange County, California.  Having outgrown its separate locations from which it was operating, LPA consolidated into the majority of a three-floor building in Irvine.

By directing a two-phase relocation effort, Relocation Strategies enabled LPA to move its 300 employees over a long weekend so that everyone was able to resume their work when their servers were reestablished and operating.  An hourly move schedule was developed to coordinate the sequential efforts of the four vendors involved in reconnecting servers, personal computers and related equipment such as telephones, printers and plotters.

On the decommissioning of LPA’s vacated locations, Relocation Strategies was able to generate proceeds through the sale of certain furnishings and minimize the cost of disposing excess furnishing through a coordinated effort with LPA’s replacement tenant – all while meeting Irvine Company’s required standards and timetable for vacating the two locations.
