Relocation Strategies was retained to plan and implement Hunsaker & Associates’ corporate headquarters relocation. The project included bidding and awarding over $1 million of office and common area furniture between 3 different furniture dealerships in order to achieve Hunsaker’s desired vision. This required coordination with the design firm, client, furniture vendors and contractor to make sure the furniture was ordered and installed on time.
Construction challenges included an inspector’s last minute additional requirements, whose delay was mitigated by Relocation Strategies’ recommendation to obtain a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy.
Similarly, Relocation Strategies decommissioned their 30,000 SF office full of built-in office furniture and circa 1980s desks and workstations in an efficient manner that saved Hunsaker from incurring any holdover charges.
