Project Overview
Relocation Strategies was retained to execute the relocation of Rutan & Tucker, LLP., the second largest law firm in Orange County, California. As part of the trend in the legal industry, Rutan downsized its operations from 112,000 sf in Costa Mesa to 72,000 sf at the Boardwalk in Irvine, where the firm obtained top signage on the building.
Relocation Strategies directed eight separate relocation phases in order to accommodate the specific needs of every Rutan professional and minimize any down time. This required clear communication with move and IT vendors to ensure that that the offices of the specific individuals of each phase were completely packed, moved and reinstalled within one day.
As part of the decommissioning of all the furniture left behind Rutan’s five vacated floors, 19 granite tables and credenza tops had to be demolished onsite prior to removal.
